No brand paid to be here.
How we research, what we will and will not accept, and what every disclosure on this site means.
Independence
No brand has paid, or can pay, for inclusion in a guide, a starter set, or the book. Brands do not review content before publication. We do not run sponsored posts dressed as editorial.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links may be affiliate links, which means we could earn a small commission if you buy. That never changes what we recommend or the order we recommend it in, and a page carrying affiliate links says so on the page. If a product is gifted or a post is sponsored, it is marked plainly as gifted or sponsored.
How we research
- We start from the ingredient list and the INCI name, not the marketing copy.
- Ingredient entries cite their sources at the bottom of the page.
- We describe what an ingredient helps with. We do not say it treats or cures anything.
- Where evidence is thin, we say the evidence is thin.
- We tell you when not to buy something, including our own recommendations from last season.
Last-verified practice
Any page that names products or prices carries a last-verified month. Prices are approximate, change often, and are not a quote — check the retailer page before buying. Formulas get reformulated without renaming, which is why we re-check rather than assume.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, write to [[CONTACT_EMAIL]]. We correct the page and note what changed rather than editing quietly.
Medical disclaimer
Orabunny publishes skincare information, not medical advice. We are not dermatologists. Nothing here diagnoses or treats a medical condition. For persistent, painful, spreading, or changing skin concerns, see a board-certified dermatologist.
